WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

IT Manager who will lead local IT team and be responsible for safeguarding of an integrated information business consisting of information technology and information systems targeting at continuous improvement of efficiency and profitability of the business processes at MTU Maintenance Serbia in close alignment with the central IT organization of the MTU.

TASKS

• Guidance, development, assessment and support of local IT employees
• Design, coordination and implementation of IT for MTU Maintenance Serbia which is aligned with the business targets under consideration of and in adjustment with MTU corporate IT standards, strategies, rules and policies
• Support the central IT organization at MTU Munich to develop corporate standards for IT technologies and IT standards
• Ensure a high available operation of local IT systems, the local data center, and the WAN connection between MTU Maintenance Serbia and MTU Munich
• Provide 2nd level support for key users (level 1) and end user questions with all IT applications in coordinaton with the central MTU IT organization
• Technical implementation and operation of MRO core assist applications and other local applications
• Operation of the local problem management by organizing the Serbia HelpDesk and the on-site support team in a seamless operation with the corresponding central functions at MTU Munich
• Safeguarding high quality and economic user support at the site in Serbia in cooperation with other IT organizational units of the MTU group
• Safeguarding of centrally provided IT security rules, regulations and policies at MTU Maintenance Serbia
• Lead local IV-SiVe team according to the specifications of the IV-SiBe
• Lead and oversee the successful implementation of IT projects within MTU MRO regarding infrastructure and application projects

REQUIREMENTS

• Solid Experience in industry with mainly infrastructure work and some application knowledge, desired in aviation industry
• Several years of experience in leading people, ideally in an IT domain
• Solid know how of a general IT setup in a mid-size company which is embedded in an internationally operating enterprise with strong central IT organization
• Very good knowledge of IT Infrastructure (Network, Computer Center Operation, Storage, etc.), IT Security technologies, major IT applications, esp. SAP and application Lifecycle Management
• English skills on conversational levelStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Problem solving ability in a rapidly changing environment
• Customer focused, Hands-on for practical support beyond management
• Ability to work under sustained pressure in a competitive environment
• Ambitious, motivated, energetic, enthusiastic self-starter
